I don’t care much for the “legal” end of this business, but I suppose there are a few things I ought to address -

- Unless another payment arrangement is specifically and explicitly agreed upon, all commissioned work requires a non-refundable down payment totaling 50% of the final cost of the work before I begin. This is to ensure that the time I spend on design work and any materials I purchase to create the work are protected and covered. I am open to different payment arrangements/installments, especially in the case of particularly expensive commissions, so please be sure to bring up the matter of a down payment when asking about potential commission work.
